Job Description:
We are looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our growing team at Matiyaga. The ideal candidate will handle cashiering duties, assist in inventory management, and ensure smooth pharmacy operations while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cashiering duties and ensure accurate transactions.
- Maintain knowledge of standard cashiering procedures and proper handling of payments.
- Ensure that customers receive the correct official receipts for their purchases.
- Account for all cash payments at the end of each shift, reporting any shortages or overages.
- Log daily deliveries in the Inventory Logbook.
- Assist suppliers who are picking up payments and report transactions to the Supervisor.
- Manage and account for the branch petty cash fund.
- Distribute flyers during non-peak hours to promote services and products.
- Deposit daily sales to the authorized bank (if the Senior Pharmacy Assistant is unavailable).
- Notify the Supervisor when stocks or supplies reach minimum levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the assigned area.
